Is it just us, or is ugly the new black in glass this year? Somebody just pointed us to the award winners of the Jutta Cuny-Franz Foundation 2009, and it left us a little underwhelmed frankly. Didn’t mind the inflated snagger skin look of overall winner C. Matthew Szosz’s piece so much, but the rest was fairly ‘beh’ (as the Italians would say).
