This, of course, has to be the most buoyant week in the School of Art calendar – all the brouhaha of the Graduating season; from the EASS (Emerging Artists Scholarship Scheme) patrons’ day to the gala Grad Show opening itself (on tonight.)

The Gang checked out the goods on Wednesday morning alongside that second-most important-group in the arty-farty game, the patrons, for what is arguably the most significant event of the week. The EASS awards are the sharp-end of the business – the awarding of prizes and scholarships, as opposed to mere acquisition (though there’s plenty of that, don’t you worry!!) The deserving recipients will be announced at the Grad Show launch this evening.
