In my anecdotal marriage, byrd presents a new body of work in contrast to the transient nature of his street art. Crafted from old socks and cultural detritius he makes waste wanted and the potentially abject desirable. These tactile soft characters form a personal diary of ideas where the artist explores independence of character and the versatility of the handled object.
