Baseline Artist Camp…

Despite forecasts of threatening rain, the BVRG Artist Camp at Penders was spared the brunt of the weather and, while remaining overcast for the duration, we only suffered one drizzly afternoon. Of course, the advantage of holding such an event at Penders is the shelter afforded by The Barn. Lovely and cosy it was, with no apparent dampening of the spirits…

Participants spent two days being mentored by visiting artists Beth Hatton and Christine James (the featured artists in the BVRG’s current exhibition Baseline: remnant grasslands of Weereewa/Lake George)…

Heartfelt thanks to Marr Grounds who so generously allows us use of the site, and to Clare and Keith Aliendi who were largely responsible for the extreme comfort factor.

General snaps here.
