is this the same piece as in the MCA extravaganza? Sometime it’s good to look at them one at a time? Whether or not Tom’s work was shown in the space he wanted at the MCA, I came away with the feeling its chaotic nature was not constructive, more like a walk-through experience. Note to future curator: it deserves more space…
Tom’s work always deserves more space!! But there’s always a chaotic edge to the work, it comes with the territory. He needs a small dedicated gallery that shows him in perpetuity, with an episodic change-over every month or so. n(Ed)
